Self Powered or 12V Powered
The replaceable CR2032 battery provides 200 hours of use, or 416 days of standby time. If used 2 hours each day, the battery would last for 81 days. A CR2032 battery has a shelf life of around 4-5 years at 25℃ and is commonly available. The ACE-1600 can also be connected to 12V for Karts that have a battery.
LAP TIMING - Manual or Automatic
The ACE-1600 includes a lap timing function to time up to 99 laps in a single session. The laps can be timed manually using the supplied wheel mounted switch. The most popular method is automatically via the supplied SMF-101 magnetic pick up that detects the magnetic strips used on most Go-Kart tracks. Shown below, the SMF-101 is included in the ACE-1600GK pack.

Installation:
The kit includes a metal mounting bracket that can be attached to your Kart in a number of different ways and can be easily adapted to fit your preferred position. The speed sensor can be mounted anywhere on the kart while the tacho lead can be hard wired or simply wrapped around the spark plug cable.
We can also supply you with Acewell accessories, such as magnetic bolts for use with the reed sensor - these go in the front brake rotor for a factory look install. We also have hall sensors for some models, water temperature adaptors, oil temp sensors, fuel level sensors, and power filters for bikes without batteries.
